Provisonal Psychologist
Nima is a registered provisional psychologist and holds a Master of Professional Psychology.
Before moving to Tamworth NSW in March 2025 Nima has lived in Adelaide since 2009. Nima’s practice is informed by diversity, multiculturalism, inclusion, neurodiversity & disability. He enjoys practicing across the lifespan (children to older adults) while staying curious and is open to learning from clients, as he considers therapy sessions are opportunities to grow with clients, while supporting them towards wellbeing and increased function.
Nima is interested in mood and anxiety disorders, grief and loss, end-of-life meaning-making, intervention/prevention of psychological trauma (war, disaster, refugee/immigrants, complex & intergenerational trauma). He also provides psychological assessments including cognitive, neurodivergence and learning difficulty assessments.
During 2014–2023 Nima worked as Inclusion Professional/Specialist Equipment Coordinator for South Australia’s Inclusion Agency (under Inclusion Support Program, a federal government funding for inclusive education & care of children attending mainstream care environments), and enjoyed sharing clients with more than 300 allied health professionals.
Nima’s first language is Persian (Farsi). When not working in Supersaurus, Nima enjoys listening to classical and pop-rock music, reading poetry, digital photography, and trying to cook recipes from diverse cuisines!
